Undocumented Student Success Week

Join us for the 9th Annual Undocumented Student Success Week at Santiago Canyon College (October 13th – 17th), a district-wide initiative in partnership with Santa Ana College!
This year’s theme, Together in Purpose, Grounded in Belonging, calls on institutions, educators, and policy leaders to take bold, equity-driven steps in designing systems that affirm students’ identities, empower their educational and career journeys, and uplift entire communities.
At SCC, we honor this call by standing alongside our undocumented and mixed-status students, ensuring they know they are not alone—we are here with 100% support. Through this district-wide effort, in collaboration with several SCC and SAC departments in addition to off-campus organizations, we remain united in breaking down barriers and creating inclusive pathways to success.
As part of the California Community Colleges—the nation’s leader in enrolling undocumented students—our events throughout the week will highlight the importance of belonging, advocacy, and cross-departmental collaboration. We invite all students, practitioners, and administrators to participate in sessions that uplift undocumented and mixed-status communities, educate about policies and resources, and reaffirm our collective commitment to student success.
Together, we move with purpose. Together, we build belonging.
