Application FAQs
Complete an application if:
- You have never attended Santiago Canyon College or Santa Ana College.
- You have previously attended Santiago Canyon College and/or Santa Ana College, but have missed two or moreprimary semesters (primary semesters consist of Fall semester or Spring semester).
You may apply for admission at SCC if you:
- Have graduated from high school or
- Have passed the CA High School Proficiency Certificate Exam or
- Have passed the GED examination or
- Have not graduated from high school but are 18 years or older and may profit from SCC instruction or
- Are a high school student qualifying for Special Admit (formerly CAP) program

- Applications are processed within 1-3 business days.
- An e-mail will be sent with student's email address (single sign on), student ID number, and other student information. The student email address and Student ID Number for former students will always remain the same.
- Once you have been assigned a student email address, you may then go online, change your password, and view your registration appointment date and time.

New/Returning Students
A new SCC student is someone who has never attended either Santiago Canyon College
(SCC) or Santa Ana College (SAC). A returning student is a student who attended SCC
or SAC, did not enroll for two (2) primary semesters (Fall and Spring), and now wishes
to return. Both new and returning students must fill out an online application to
the college to be eligible to register in classes.
Online Application

International Students
SCC is a SEVP approved institution to host international students who enter the country
on F-1 student visas. Foreign students should contact the International Student Office
for application forms and instructions. The deadline to apply is 45 days prior to
the start date of the term; for exceptions, please contact the International Student
Office.
International Students

High School/Early College Students
Early College is an opportunity for high school students to take college-level courses to get a head start on college, explore an interest, or fulfill a high school requirement. You can take courses taught at your high school, on the Santiago Canyon College campus, or online. High School/Early College students can fill out the regular Online Application.

Dreamers/Undocumented Students
SCC is committed to supporting Dreamers/Undocumented Students and offers undocu-friendly resources so that all students, regardless of immigration status, have access to further their education.
