Cost of Attendance
Understanding Your Cost of Attendance
The Cost of Attendance (COA) is an estimate of the educational and living expenses
associated with
attending Santiago Canyon College (SCC). It includes not only enrollment fees, books,
and supplies,
but also basic living expenses such as food, housing, transportation, and personal
expenses.
Keep in mind that enrollment fees and other student fees are direct costs paid to
the college. The
remaining expenses are indirect costs that vary based on each student's individual
circumstances
and lifestyle.
SCC uses two Cost of Attendance budgets: one for students living with their parents
and one for
students living independently off campus. These budgets represent estimated average
expenses for
students attending SCC. Your actual costs may vary and may be higher or lower than
the amounts
shown.

and other
financial aid are applied, use our Net Price Calculator.

and
are not a bill from the college. - Actual expenses will vary based on a student’s living arrangement, enrollment status,
program
of study, and personal spending choices. - COA budgets assume full-time enrollment (12 units per semester) during the Fall and
Spring
terms unless otherwise noted. - Housing and food allowances differ depending on whether a student lives with
parents/relatives or off campus. - Tuition and fee estimates are based on the current California resident enrollment
fee per unit
and are subject to change. - Books and supplies costs are estimated averages and may vary by program.
- Transportation and personal expenses are estimated amounts and are not billed by the
college.
