Using the Closet

The Hawk’s Closet provides SCC students with free business-casual and professional clothing. If you have a job interview, a class presentation, or another important event, we have outfits to help you feel confident and prepared!

Students may select up to six items per week. A private changing room is available if you’d like to try items on. Shopping for free clothes works just like the Market; we simply need your student ID number at check-in.

While the closet does not have set open hours, you’re welcome to stop by during our regular office or Market hours. Just ask a staff member, and we’ll be happy to open it for you!

Want to Donate?

Now is the perfect time to edit your closet and donate professional or business casual clothing that’s in good condition. We take donations year-round.

Acceptable Donations:

• Clothing: Shirts, blouses, pants, trousers, blazers, dresses, and skirts
• Shoes: New or very lightly used professional footwear
• Accessories: Neckties and gently used purses

Donation Guidelines:

• Please donate new or lightly used professional or business casual clothing. All adult sizes are welcome.
• Undergarments cannot be accepted.
• Please wash or dry clean all clothing before donating.
• Donations can be dropped off in A-108. (Call us for assistance)

Your donations will directly support SCC students as they prepare to launch their careers with confidence!
