  • The Ask a Librarian chat service on the library homepage is available anytime the library is open. During intersession and summer, this is Monday to Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Starting Spring 2024, this will also include Fridays from 8:00-5:00. The Ask A Librarian chat service allows you to chat virtually with a librarian who can assist you with research help, as well as creating citations. (Note –  Ask a Librarian is not the same as the “Ask Santiago” site-wide AI bot chat service! Ask a Librarian connects you to a faculty librarian dedicated to helping students and other faculty members access the resources they need to succeed in learning and teaching.)
  • You can email a librarian anytime at askalibrarian@sccollege.edu.
  • You can book a research appointment with a librarian here.
  • You can drop by the library anytime we are open, and visit the Reference Desk for in-person assistance from a librarian.
  • You can call the Reference Desk to speak to a librarian at 714-628-5005.
