What is the MESA Program?

A program dedicated to supporting underrepresented and economically disadvantaged students in their journey to transfer to a four-year university and pursue degrees in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).

Requirements to join the MESA Program

  • GPA 2.0
  • Declared Calculus-based major in Math, Science, or Engineering
  • First Generation Student(Parents do not have a Bachelor’s Degree)
  • Economically Impacted
  • Plan to transfer to a 4-year Institute

Continuing in the MESA Program

  • MESA Orientation
  • One Counseling Appointment per semester with the MESA Counselor
  • Two Academic Excellence Workshops
  • One Approved MESA Engagement Activity
