Economics

The Department’s mission is to offer core lower division courses in Microeconomics and Macroeconomics and to motivate students to strengthen the communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical reasoning skills that will assist them in their further studies and careers. The Department further aims to develop responsible citizens who are aware of and informed about a variety of differing views on current economic events and policy issues and how they impact our lives.
