MathCE 206 College Preparation Essential Mathematics is a free noncredit math course that covers the following topics: operations of whole numbers, fractions, decimals, integers and working with percentages, ratio, proportion, measurement, mensuration geometry, basic algebra and applied word problems. This course prepares students for Pre-Algebra or the MathCE 255 course.

Tuition free course:
MathCE 206 is free for all students who are 18 or older.
Students who are younger than 18 needs to have a parent or guardian come to SCC to sign a waiver before allowed to register for the class.
