“Elevating a Culture of Black Excellence” with Dr. Vaniethia Hubbard

Join Dr. Hubbard, Santa Ana College Vice President of Student Services, as she shares her blueprint for Black excellence.  A personified example of a Maya Angelou “Phenomenal Woman”, Dr. Hubbard is a consummate professional who curates learning environments for student success.

Join us as we bring the month to a close by reveling in Black Excellence in campus unity.  Enjoy a gathering of SCC community and sway to music, savor some sweets, and be memorialized in art. 

 

Forgotten Images:  Exhibit of Black History

February 29 | 9:00am-5:00pm | Black Legacy Achievement Center of Knowledge (BLACK)  B-211/212

Take a walk-through Black History with this remarkable exhibit provided by Forgotten Images.  A vast collection of African American art and artifacts, Forgotten Images is the largest collection of historic items, spanning four-centuries.  Santiago Canyon College holds a space to honor this gathering on the last day of Black History Month.
