Need Extra Help in a Math Class?

The Math Success Center is a zero-cost service provided by SCC that provides students assistance and supplement learning done in the classroom. A math faculty member, an instructional assistant, or a student tutor is always on duty to assist students with questions or concerns from their math class. Additionally, computers are available for students to access mathematical software or do work for an online math class. Students also have access to limited instructional videos and computer tutorial programs.  

How to Enroll

To use the Math Success Center, students need to enroll in HSOTH-153-75847. You can do this on your first visit to the Math Success Center by logging into the registration computer.

Staff members are here to assist you in the MSC registration process.  Please stop by the center if you need assistance and start using the MSC the same day!

How much will it cost?

The Math Success Center is azero-cost service to all students! It may be required to pay Student Services fees (as a part of the student application process, including health fees) and purchase a parking pass if needed.​ 

What can I expect when I go to the Math Success Center

Math faculty and math tutors are available to assist students with homework, concepts, or other questions from your math class. The MSC also offers study rooms with white boards for small groups to collaborate and learn. Please note that the MSC does not provide private tutoring.

When is the last day to register for the Math Success Center?

Students may register for the MSC at any time during the semester before the end of the last week of classes.

Monday - Thursday: 9:30 AM - 7:30 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Online Hours: Monday & Thursday 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Spring Intersession Hours:

Monday - Thursday 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
