Earth Sciences

The Department of Earth Sciences offers a comprehensive general education and transfer program for students interested in becoming geoscientists and students with career interests outside of the Earth sciences. The study of Earth promotes an interest in the planet that encourages curiosity, scientific literacy, life-long learning, and strengthens students' critical thinking skills. Critical thinking developed throughout our program will help our students make informed choices about their future interactions with the world around them.
