Chemistry department offers a comprehensive general education and transfer program for students in chemistry. The mission is to help students understand and appreciate chemistry by promoting scientific literacy and encouraging curiosity.

The chemistry classes offered at Santiago Canyon College are designed to awaken your awareness of the world of chemicals and chemical reactions. These classes will prepare the student for a professional career in a variety of fields and to transfer to a 4-year institution leading to a baccalaureate degree.
