The Santiago Canyon College Spanish Department is committed to offering courses which provide quality language and cultural experiences which expand awareness and understanding of cultural diversity and other worldviews. In addition, all Spanish courses foster students’ acquisition of the language and progress in reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. It is also our commitment to offer an array of transfer level and enrichment courses to support students in meeting their educational, career or personal goals. Furthermore, our department takes pride in promoting opportunities for learning beyond the classroom by offering extracurricular cultural enrichment events and activities which also allow students to cultivate connections in and outside the classroom.
