MEDITATION WORKSHOP 1: MINDFULNESS

The first of a four part series of meditation workshops in which we'll explore different kinds of meditation, what it is, what are its benefits, and how to practice it. Whether you've never meditated before or you're an experienced practitioner you'll learn something new in each workshop. In this first workshop we'll practice breath meditation, body scan, and walking meditation. Scientific research has shown that meditation can literally change the structure of the brain to enable us to deal more effectively with stress, illness, anxiety, depression, and pain, to name just a few benefits. Mariana is a certified Meditation and Mindfulness Instructor with over ten years of meditation experience based on a solid academic foundation.
