Chat with the Transfer Success Center
Our Live-Chat feature is a great place for students to get started on their transfer process or to ask us a few quick questions. We are available to help you via Live-Chat during our normal office hours. Even if you're not sure whether or not your question is transfer-related, we encourage students to start with us. If we aren't able to provide you answers or a service to fulfill your needs, we will know who you can contact to get help.
How to Live-Chat
One of the best things about SCC's Live-Chat feature is that you can chat with every department on campus seamlessly. If you understand how to chat with us, you will understand how to chat with everyone on campus! Here's how it works:
- Find the Live-Chat cards on our website. For us, you can simply scroll down to find the Transfer Success Center's card and our staff member's cards.
- Click on the "Chat" button when the light is green. If a staff member is currently in a meeting with a student, it will be yellow or red. Usually it won't be more than a 5-10 minute wait if nobody is currently available.
- Login with Canvas. Start the chat by using the same credentials that you login to Canvas with. This means you don't have an extra password to remember!
- Ask us your questions. After 3 simple steps, you're chatting! Good work. Pat yourself on the back for taking another step towards completing your transfer journey.
**Bonus tip: Come back as often as you need. We can chat with you regularly or we can even setup an appointment if it is a more in-depth reason.
