Nicolas Johnson, born in 1999, in Montreal Canada. He studied operations research, financial engineering, and analytics, was named Princeton University's first black valedictorian in the school's 274-year history. Mr. Johnson, was a member of the Princeton chapter of Engineers Without Borders and had summer internships at both Google and Oxford University.
He wrote his senior thesis on developing algorithms to design a community-based preventive health intervention to decrease obesity in Canada. The research included applications to help impose strict social distancing to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
