Part-Time Concurrent Enrollment



F-1 students currently studying at another college/university* or high school in the U​nited States, with a valid I-20, can take part-time classes at Santiago Canyon College. 

Begin by submitting an online application at: OpenCCC International Application​
Prior to ​registration, please bring the following documents to the International Student Program (A-203):

  1. A concurrent permission letter written by your campus DSO.
    The letter must include course names as well as the semester you will be taking the classes. The DSO must state that they are maintaining your I-20. You must submit a new permission letter for every semester you wish to take classes.
  2. A copy of your current I-20
  3. A copy of your valid passport, F-1 visa, and most recent I-94

After you visit our office, you may then be allowed to enroll for classes on your assigned registration date. The cost for tuition is $363​ per unit (subject to change). Please call the International Student Program for additional information: (714) 628-5050. 

If you are registering for a course that has a required prerequisite, you must complete a C​ourse Prerequisite Clearance with the Counseling Department--this includes showing documentation of previous course completion or completing placement testing with our Testing Center.

*Students currently enrolled at a language school for "language training" will not be permitted to take part-time classes at SCC per USCIS policies.
