Personal:​ : Marissa is a transfer from University of Mississippi.  In high school she was a three-time All-League selection and posted a .571 OBP in her senior season.  In 2013, she helped lead Santiago High School to a CIF Division 1 Championship.  Marissa is the daughter of Lyn and Michael and she states that her grandmother has had the greatest influence on her life after surviving Stage IV Breast Cancer.  She plans to pursue a doctorate in physical therapy after graduation.
