Employer-Campus Partnerships (On-Campus Recruitment)
Career Services strives to establish connections among local employers and SCC students seeking employment.  We recognize one direct method of reaching out to students is through on-campus recruitment.  Interested employers should contact Career Services to participate in this program.  SCC students should call or visit Career Services to learn which companies will be recruiting on campus.

Any student interested in participating is encouraged to contact Career Services.

Employment Preparation Workshops

The employment preparation workshops assist SCC students with job search, resume development and interviewing techniques. Please call for available dates and times.

Career Development Workshops

  • Free introductory assessments (personality, interest)
  • Career Exploration (job description, salary, outlook, and education)
  • Informational Interviews (how to identify contacts, questions to ask, and follow-up)
  • Referral to Academic Counselor

Career Services staff recommend taking the assessments in a quiet location free from distractions, allowing yourself enough time to complete all the assessments.  Take your time answering the questions and always rely on your first instinct when responding.  Once you have completed the assessments, please bring a print out of your results to Career Services for an interpretation.
