Benefits:  Students who are accepted for this 8-week research opportunity will be placed in cutting edge CSUF science laboratories, paired with CSUF research mentors to enhance the educational experience.  This opportunity is a great way to strengthen transfer applications to STEM undergraduate programs!

Two Recommendation Forms from Professors

(Note: At least one of the two recommendation forms must be completed by a professor of a STEM-related discipline)

Imagine conducting research on the Cal State Fullerton campus this summer, and getting paid $5,000 to do it!

• Student must be currently enrolled at Santiago Canyon College
• Able to commit to an 8-week, full time summer research program
• Interested in pursuing a STEM undergraduate degree
• Must be an active member of the STEM² program as well as SCC's STEM Academy
  
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Completion of one year Math/Science required
  

In addition, you must meet one of the following two criteria:

• You plan to transfer to any bachelor's degree granting institution Spring 2014 or later

OR

• You plan to transfer to CSU Fullerton Fall 2013
