Santiago Canyon College women’s soccer athletes hold a clinic with area youth

The community event is the second annual effort by the team to work with area youth.  The Hawks held a soccer clinic for young athletes with disabilities from the Junior United Soccer Association TOPSoccer program.  TOPSoccer stands for “The Outreach Program for Soccer,” a community-based soccer program for young athletes facing physical and mental challenges.

The Yorba Linda event was the fourth annual clinic the SCC women have held with the youth.
According to SCC Head Coach Ian Woodhead, TOPSoccer provides a safe and fun environment for children to participate in organized sports.

Santiago Canyon College is a public community college of Rancho Santiago Community College District, serving the residents of Anaheim Hills, Orange, Tustin and Villa Park.  The college provides education for academic transfer and careers, courses for personal and professional development, and customized training for business and industry.
