Television/Video Communications Certificate of Proficiency - Media Studies
Emphasis on preparing students for careers as producers
and executives in the cable, television, and film industries as well as
those who wish to be media teachers, critics and historians. Students
will gain theoretical knowledge about the history, development, and
societal impact of the media in the United States and the world as well
as practical experience in dealing with production aesthetics and
terminology, basic scriptwriting skills, and business and budgeting
applications relating to the electronic media.
