Mathematics is truly a universal language, and serves as the core of many exciting and indemand career industries related to STEM. A solid understanding of the fundamentals of mathematics provides students at SCC with a wealth of personal and professional opportunities, opening doors to many high pay/high demand degree and career options.
Mathematics courses make up some of the common transfer requirements for many diverse majors related to Science, Technology, and Engineering. In an effort to promote success in mathematics, students at SCC also have access to tutoring in the MaSH (Math Study Hall).
